Purpose
Welcome! This is an information resource for Filipino American (Fil-Am) adults and students. Currently, it focuses on California, and San Diego County in particular. These pages will direct you to information on ESL and Filipino language programs, scholarships, mentoring programs, teaching resources, and student groups. It also gives instruction on how to find information at the San Diego Public Library (SDPL).
Audience
This guide will be most useful for Filipino American young adult and adult learners and teachers in or near San Diego, California. It was designed for an assignment in LIBR 240 (Information Technology Tools and Applications), a course offered by the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University, CA.
